Ready for a trip back in time? This excursion will take you to two charming medieval towns in Gerona: Rupit and Besalú. From the meeting point in Lloret de Mar, we will board a bus that will take us to Rupit, a town that seems frozen in medieval times. We will walk through its cobbled streets and marvel at its famous suspension bridge, all while enjoying the authenticity of this place.
After exploring Rupit, we will go to the Mare de Déu del Far Sanctuary, located at more than 1,000 meters above sea level. From here, we will contemplate impressive views of the Gerona landscape, a truly unique experience.
Then, we will continue to Besalú, another medieval treasure of the province. You will have time to explore its most emblematic monuments, such as the bridge, the Jewish baths and the church of the monastery of San Pedro de Besalú and San Julián.
Finally, we will return to Lloret de Mar around 7:00 p.m., after a day full of history and discoveries. Get ready to go back to medieval times and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Gerona!
