Itinerary

We will begin our route by heading to the Gothic quarter, where the ancient Roman Barcino was born. Here, among narrow streets, we will discover tombs that are more than a thousand years old and we will hear the numerous legends and curiosities that have circulated in the area for centuries.

Entering the Gothic quarter, we will immerse ourselves in the medieval era. We will pass by emblematic places such as the Plaza de Sant Jaume, headquarters of the City Council and the Palau de la Generalitat, and we will admire the exteriors of the Santa Eulàlia cathedral with its mysterious gargoyles. We will learn about the history of Plaza del Rey, the scene of assassination attempts, and we will explore El Call, the remains of the old Jewish quarter.

We will continue our free tour entering El Born, one of the most charming neighborhoods in Barcelona. Cafes, boutiques and cocktail bars will define this area, where the emblematic Cathedral of the Sea is also located. We will admire its majestic façade, original from the 14th century, and learn about its fascinating history.
