Embark on an exciting kayak adventure along the majestic Ebro River, where sport, history and nature intertwine in an unforgettable experience! Delve into the richness of local fauna and flora as you glide through these crystal clear waters. You dare?
We will meet at 10:00 at the Mora la Nueva pier, where you will receive a brief orientation on how to handle the kayaks before starting our exciting tour. Time to row!
We will pass under the iconic arched bridge of Mora de la Nova, whose history dates back to the Spanish Civil War. We will discover the ancient Iberian settlements and listen to fascinating stories about the Battle of the Ebro and other historical events while we sail calmly, surrounded by lush riverside vegetation, especially near the islands of Galatxo and the town of Castellet de Banyoles.
We will make a brief stop on an island near Benissanet to enjoy a refreshing swim before continuing paddling towards the imposing Miravet Castle, a medieval work that highlights the architecture of the Templar Order.
At the end, we will leave the kayaks in Miravet and return to the starting point by minibus, arriving at approximately 12:30 p.m.
