Immerse yourself in the fascinating history and natural beauty of the Costa Brava with this tour that will take you through its charming walled towns and the remains of its medieval castles.
We will meet at River Café, in Plaça Sant Feliu in Gerona, ready to begin our adventure along the Costa Brava.
We will begin by exploring the picturesque fishing towns of Llafranc and Calella, known for their beautiful coves and their seafaring tradition. We'll walk along the region's typical coastal paths before heading to Begur, a medieval hilltop gem. Here, we will explore the ruins of its castle and enjoy panoramic views of the Gulf of Roses.
We will continue to Pals, a charming town surrounded by walls, towers and rice fields. In a local restaurant, you will have the opportunity to try the delicious arroz a lacasola, a typical dish of the area (not included). After lunch, we will stroll through the artisan markets and visit the Tower of Hours, the last vestige of the old castle.
Just fifteen minutes from Pals, we will arrive at Peratallada, one of the best preserved medieval complexes in Catalonia. Before returning to Gerona, we will make a stop in La Bisbal d'Empordà to admire the traditional ceramics of the region.
Our return to Gerona is scheduled for 6:00 p.m., thus concluding a day full of history and impressive landscapes on the Costa Brava.
