Discover the natural majesty of Montserrat, the iconic peak of Catalonia. This trip will take you on an exciting tour of its mountainous trails and will immerse you in the spirituality of its monastery.
We will begin our day with a panoramic bus tour of the elegant Paseo de Gracia and the imposing presence of the Royal Palace of Pedralbes. Then, we will head towards Montserrat by bus, where you will be greeted by the impressive 1,236-meter-high massif.
Montserrat Abbey, an old Benedictine monastery from the 10th century, will be our first destination. We will explore this sacred place that houses the venerated figure of La Moreneta, patron saint of Catalonia.
We will ascend to the Montserrat Natural Park on the Sant Joan funicular, from where you will enjoy unparalleled panoramic views. Then, we will venture on a hike along the trails to the top, where we will witness the grandeur of Barcelona from above.
A Montserrat coca tasting will revitalize us before enjoying free time to contemplate the landscapes. If luck is with us, we could witness the performance of the renowned Escolanía de Montserrat, the oldest children's choir in Europe, always subject to availability and schedules.
After five and a half hours of unforgettable experience, we will return to Gran Vía de Carlos III, with our hearts full of memories and our minds renewed. A unique day in Montserrat awaits you!
