Itinerary

Welcome to the Castell del Remei winery! At the indicated time we will meet at the entrance of the store of this historic Penellas winery, a place that gives you the opportunity to get to know the oldest winery in Catalonia.

To begin, we will enter the labyrinth of galleries where the wines age in oak barrels. During the visit, we will learn about the winemaking tradition that Castell del Remei has followed since its foundation in 1780. Did you know that its winery is inspired by the prestigious châteaux of Bordeaux?

We will explore all its facilities, including the Large Barrel Room, an architectural treasure 12 meters wide. Likewise, we will see the old agricultural machinery and various field tools, and we will tell you how they carry out the daily care of the vineyards.

We will complete our visit to the Castell del Remei winery by enjoying a tasting of three wines. The finishing touch to the tour! Before finishing, we will give you the opportunity to explore the grounds of the estate on your own, where you will find a castle and the Sanctuary of the Virgin Mary of Remei.

After an hour and a half of oenological experience, we will say goodbye at the entrance of the winery.
