Excursion to Vic, Rupit and Besalú

Itinerary

We will meet at your hotel in Barcelona between 8:00 and 9:00 a.m. to begin our excursion north, heading to the charming medieval towns of Besalú, Rupit and Vic.

We will begin our trip in Besalú, a medieval town that seems straight out of a fairy tale. We will cross its emblematic Romanesque bridge and get lost in its cobbled streets, discovering such fascinating places as the Jewish miqvé and the old churches.

Afterwards, we will go to the La Garrocha Volcanic Zone Natural Park, where we will enjoy a hiking route surrounded by impressive natural landscapes, volcanoes and ancient forests.

We will continue our journey to Rupit, another medieval treasure located in the province of Barcelona. Here you will have free time to taste the local cuisine in one of its charming restaurants.

Our last stop will be in Vic, a monumental city with a rich historical heritage. We will tour its old town, admiring the beauty of the Plaza Mayor and the vestiges of the Palau dels Montcada, an ancient Roman temple from the 2nd century.

We will conclude our exciting excursion and drop you back at your hotel in Barcelona around 6:00 p.m. An unforgettable experience that combines history, nature and culture!
